In this week’s TWiB we look at some competitive bidding decisions for Responder. Specifically we are focused on when partner opens the bidding and our RHO makes an overcall. As the Responder, we may need to choose between bidding a new suit (making a freebid) or using a negative double. We look at how to make this decision and the pros and cons of each action.
